Default Sever turbulence on highway

Has anyone else had their Gunner wobble so sever at highway speeds you wondered if it was going to go into a tank slapper? I have the mid size windshield on my Gunner and this thing is a hand full when coming up on or following traffic on the highway. I mean if this bike even sniffs a semi be ready to punch it and go around fast or hang on.
Last night I was on the highway in heavy traffic following a Fiat 500 in the passing lane at 80 and a line of semis in the other lane and the bike was shaking side to side very bad. In clear air the bike is fine. My Harley never was like this but then again it was 200 lbs heavier. I would hate to get caught in the rain and have this happen or I'm sure it would but my ass down on the road.

I suggest you run this by your dealer. Just guessing here, maybe steering head is out of torque spec or something else is too loose.

I've noticed the same thing. I have the Victory quick detach screen, and one thing about it is, it's flexible. I can see it flex when riding. So when it hits dirty air, like behind a semi, the screen is moving. I also can feel wind gusts hitting it from what feels like the back side, again causing the front end the feel nervous. Could be steering head, I guess I should have it checked. But if others are affected, is it bike specific, or was there a run of bikes that have mis-adjusted from the factory?

My father in law rides a Vegas with a mid victory screen... Had the same problem so he junked the screen. Now he uses a ness bob dron fairing and absolutely loves it.

For $500 bucks you would think Victory could test these things on their bikes to make sure they work. I hate to junk the thing but maybe I can just make a new one using the brackets and mounts. Anyone using the fly windshield have this problem? I love the bike but this shield is a POS on the highway.

Does your Gunner feel light in the front end even without the screen?

I road to Full Throttle up by Lansing today to check out the Demo ride truck and on the highway up there I came up on a tanker and it shook pretty bad. After I got home I removed the windshield and went back out on the highway. It still wobbles back and forth but not as bad. The handle bars don't really shake but the hole bike does back and forth. I think it must be the way the air flows around this model that is the cause. I will have to hook up the GoPro's and see if I can capture the bike wobbling.

I had a Suzuki C50 with a Memphis Shades windshield that would get squirley like that. I was able to change the angle and it settled down to smooth. Can the angle be changed or is it fixed on these?

I had a Judge for a while. It's virtually the same bike, and I don't recall it being as nervous feeling as the Gunner. In fact I don't recall the demo Gunners being this nervous. I rode the Gunner on the demo truck before I bought mine, and I wouldn't have bought it if the demo felt this way. I am wondering if it's the Dunlops. It feels like the tires want to follow any imperfection in the road. But that doesn't really make sense since those tires were on the Judge as well. I'm going to try to have the dealer check the steering bearings, maybe they're out of adjustment.

No the angle can't be changed just move it up or down a inch. The shield has the headlight cutout for a jackpot light and not the round light we have.
