Default Sat on an Octane.

Yesterday I was by my dealer for another reason and they took delivery on 3 Octanes. There was one on the showroom floor. It is a compact bike, smaller than I expected. The saddle is comfortable for me, I'm 6'2" and 220. The stock pegs are a little short for my legs. It is definitely light and well balanced sitting on it. The owner rode the demo to lunch and returned as I was leaving. I asked him what he thought and he said with a smile, "That is a really fast bike." I can't buy one, but I am hoping to test ride one when Victory Demo Days comes April 1-2!

The screen name says it all.

So.....You didn't get to do a burn-out or a wheelie?

LOL! Nope. When the owner got back from lunch I had to leave. If I would have had time I would have tried to get a ride! I did sit on it and twist the throttle and go "vroom, vroom!"

Default I sat on one as well.

I sat on an Octane today at the Barry Sheene festival of speed at Eastern Creek raceway Sydney. Really nice seating position, very nice suspension feeling compared to the Scout which was also on the stand. All in all I thought the Octane to be a more together bike than the Scout. Not having ridden either I may be way off the mark, but thats what it felt like from just sitting. I also can't seem to upload any pix. Damn eh?

I'd say that's about 90% of a real test ride

Wouldn't it be a real joke if I actually got an Octane as a second bike?....It does fill all the criteria I'm looking for in a #2 machine

This is an awesome bike. I don't regret buying it.

I can't afford upgrades.
