Default Happy with my octane

6weeks and 600 miles between rain. Been watching for ad ons to start hitting the market. Rear pegs seat and backrest are on. Thinking about highway bars, moving handlebars up and awaiting better saddlebag options.

If you look at their videos, they have the best sounding exhaust I have heard for the Octane

V&H has a sweet full system, and all the Scout pipes are a direct bolt on to the Octane. Good exhaust, Ness intake, and a PCV will get you 108[ish] to the back tire

I'm not an asshole...I just type that way

Will Scout slip-ons fit the octane? All the manufacturers are telling me no?

According to V+H website they only make Victory pipes for cross bikes, but I have seen Vegas and Gunner with their pipes that have been Harley items.

2008 Suzuki B King,2010 Vegas 8 Ball,2006 BMW Z4.

Trask slip ons. This is a scout we set up for a customer. Sounds unreal.

No, Scout slip-ons will not fit on the Octane. Something to do with different mounts and the bend in the pipe. It is believed that any full exhaust system for the Scout will fit the Octane, but I don't know of anyone that has ventured down that road yet.

Default Trask slip ons

Trask slip fit perfect. I have them on my octane no prob. Just need to reuse the original exhaust clamps
