Default Oil question

For those who've gone full synthetic. What weight are you using?

Thanks

Beg to differ all you want... search "oil viscosity"... that's what the "weight" refers to. Sorry that I answered... my dad said "never get into a discussion with a fool."

I whole heartedly agree with Dad. So I will only have one more comment. It is true one could do a search and in a few hours time weed out the pertinant information, most of the weeding posts such as yours, or, ask a question and those that fit the criteria take the 30 seconds to answer and your done.
Now I ask, next time you talk to Dad ask him, what would be the wisest course?

Hello, I am using valvoline 10w-40 full synthetic but considering going to Mobil 1 synthetic. I have no issues and bike shifts great. 10w-40 is easiest to find and is still a 40 weight oil. I spoke with local dealer service manager and he said this is the oil a lot of owners use and it will be fine to use in the Vic. I have the 106/6 by the way.

The best for viscosity AND shear is AmsOil 20w50. And Purolator Pure One filters.
