This is the kind of thing that chaps my hide. A Navy SEAL, Senior Chief no less, is wrongfully tried and convicted due to corruption at the leadership level. I would like to see those responsible for this go to trial, convicted, then given the same 3 years time in a hard labor prison and have all pension benefits stripped from them.

Navy retaliated against SEAL Keith Barry after refusing to sign paperwork admitting guilt, he says – Navy denies

In fact; I'd like to see all corrupt politicians given the same sentence and all their benefits stripped from them as well. We could start with Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff, Cummings, Omar, Tlaib, etc. etc. but they are not all dems. There are some very corrupt republicans as well. This deep state corruption is the problem with our government. Pardon my rant but I'm so sick of these criminals in positions of leadership.

Typical military shenanigans; Hang those under you out to dry for your crimes/sins. I'm reminded of an Australian movie on the subject; Breaker Morant.

Can one of the posters here who are always so quick to tell us all what the real answers are explain why the most recent in a list of nose thumbing military challenges, from POTUS's bromance buddy, has brought nothing but the sound of crickets?

This subject is finally getting the attention it deserves and it crosses all across the political spectrum because it's a global problem.

Plastic is considered to be a wonder product. It is made with many different compositions so just melting it down and turning it into a radio knob or something isn't easy. Plus plastic trash is full of contaminants that make it labor intensive to separate so it ends up in oceans and landfills along with everything else. I'm personally not concerned about the landfills but the oceans are not our natural habitat. It's disgusting what we, as a species, are doing. Plastics end up in whale and dolphin bellies killing them. Fishing nets kill millions of different sea life. Plastics get wrapped around the necks of sea turtles, seals, and sea lions.

Where does your plastic go? Global investigation reveals America's dirty secret

Climate change is a total hoax designed to do one thing; take money out of our pockets so they can be directed into certain pre-arranged pockets with no results. What we humans are doing to the oceans is the real problem. Well; that and over population.

In other important news; President Trump and the immigration enforcement are starting a major deportation plan starting with those who did not show up for their court case to decide if they could stay here. I don't know why they don't seem to understand they were a criminal when they stole their way into this country then they committed another major crime by not showing up to court to plead their case so it could adjudicated. Why would any country allow two-time criminals who have proven they have no respect for laws to stay in their country? With at least 30 million illegals here; this is going to be a long but necessary process. Of course the dems hate this because these illegals vote illegally for them.

Just another Tuesday in America...

When I was young, grade school and younger there was very little plastic. Every thing was glass or tin/steel cans, a few toys. Coke bottles, milk bottles and some beer bottles were returnable. I always bought beer in bar bottles because they where returnable. In the early 80's when I lived on the economy in Germany I had beer and cokes delivered to the house. There bottles were returnable and we would set the empties on the curb and they would take the empties and leave full ones. It was really nice and convenient. OOOH yeah, dippers were cloth and dipper pals smelt real bad. But clothe dipper work real well to spit shine my boots in the Army. I have no solution how do deal with the waste today and I do not recycle and will not. I have seen all kinds of ways they use recycled plastic, building materials, clothes or back into bottle and I'm sure there are many other ways. With everything they are doing we still have a great amount of waste.

Having been born in the Great Depression and then WWII hits us, there was precious little waste and as NAB sez, most
everything else was returnable. Packaging was lean, not like today. But we are being shamed into thinking that the US is the sole contributor to all that is wrong in the world, when the truth is just the opposite.

As you guys know i travel the world over and over again .... To solve this plastic problem is to stop listening to mega companies, and stop producing single use plastic ... It is just mind boggling the pollution in the world, i have seen so so many countries .... And these "developed" countries mist STOP Recycling all together, they must STOP buying single use plastic .... And make there own paper straws again ... 20 years ago PET bottles were plastic bottles that were reused over and over again ...

On a side note, LEGO is looking into making LEGO from non plastic materials, sooo yes this is not necessary coz it is not single use, but they WANT to do it ...

In the last 40 years we have REALLY ?"'@-$ the world with polution ....

PS, please note that crude oil has been discharging itself into the ocean for millions if years ...
