Default Speedometer off?

I'm just wondering if anyone else's speedometer does not show accurate speed?

Looks like it is about 8% off (according to GPS).

My speedometer is within 1-2mph and I consider that great. My ambient temperature gauge is within 1 degree of the 3 banks I pass every morning on my way to work.

My VTX and Venture were off as much as 10%.

I am a HAPPY CAMPER.

Mine is about 5 mph lower than actual at 70 mph. It is about 7 mph lower than actual at 90 mph. I use a Garmin 550 as the standard.

I read here somewhere that the stage 1 kit has some effect on this, though I have no idea why it would.

According to my GPS, my speedometer reads about 3 mph higher then I am actually going.

Kinda nice to have that. Tis a nice buffer for when I pass those cops with the radar out.

Just got the XR about a month ago and hadn't checked until now. It has the stage 1 but didn't think that would make a difference. It displays faster speed than actually going so guess I should be safe if it displays the speed limit!

My VTX is about 12% off. Just sort of got used to doing the math in my head.
