Default New saddle? Rumor/assumption.

So, I'll preface this with a disclaimer that this is an assumption from me based on communication with someone within Polaris/Victory and the limited information I've received. But, wanted to share in the event there is anyone out there like me: looking for a solo saddle.

A bit under a month ago, we did a fundraiser ride out here and had a large Victory group from the TCVR. Being in Minnesota, Victory also sent a couple of people, one of them being a guy who works in or runs (don't recall) the accessory division. Anyhow, he noticed my lack of an ignition and starting chatting me up and asking me about some of the things I was doing. A big one we discussed at decent length was my desire for a solo saddle and plans to refab the fender or possibly make a solo with cowl like the Hammer has.

This weekend, he emailed me asking about the keyless setup as they want to add it to some custom XC they're doing and finished it with a note saying "Keep your eyes out for the new custom Cross Country seat.".

So, all that said, I'm hoping they're going to release a solo saddle/cowl configuration for the Cross bikes. No idea on time or anything but will update as I know.

That would be great. I didn't realize the back fender was like when I bought my XR and was planning on going to a solo saddle until I took my seat off. Great news, can't wait to see what they might come out with.

COOL!! Now that sounds REAL interesting!! I only ride solo so maybe that could give me some more push back room in the seat.

Here's hoping the cost is pretty reasonable. I have tons of vision...but lack some of the know how/equipment for most things I want to do. I've received a pair of quotes from people and they sit right around $500-600 or so to just fab one up. And I hope the saddle stays the same. I've never come across a stock saddle that's comfortable until this one!

I did the mod on the back rest to flip it around to get me more push back room and it works pretty good but as soon as I put on a leather jacket its too close. I wonder if the seat will have any allotments for a back rest.

Cool! I'd like to see an optional bracket to mount the trunk over the rear passenger seat like Harley has.
