Default Armrest and Drink Holders

Another little project was to find some type of drink holder for the longer rides. My wife wanted the armrest ( which she now loves ) and then I ordered the kuryakyn drink holders. Hers just clamped onto the armrest bars and mine clamped onto the handle bars, but like anything you do it dont always work out as its supposed to.
The way the handle bars turn the grips and switches get closer to the tank the farther you turn, so with the drink holder just mounted to the bars when I turned the bars the bottom of the holder would rub the tank. So I had to come up with some type of extension , I think it turnd out pretty good for a few pieces of metal and alittle bit of time.

Turned out nice. I don't really have the need for one, but the wife want the arm rests and cup holder. So thats gonna be my next purchase when I get the cash.

By the way, where did you get your GPS mount? Last weekend I had to cobble a homemade bracket for a quick trip we took at the last minute. It worked good but its not adjustable to stop the sun glare.

For the gps mount I used a Tourtech locking mount

with a ram ball and a ram locking

and a victory RAM Ball Handlebar Clamp

this set up I brought over from my goldwing and works well, I never worry about the gps while away from the bike , when staying overnight in a hotel I do remove it and take it inside or lock it in the trunk.
