Default humming noise

OK, I've read a bunch of threads about chirping belts.
Mine seems to be adjusted right per the manual but I get a lot of humming or moaning sounds coming from the rear.
Is this the belt or pulley or are my bearings going??
TIA,
Dan

I had a belt chirp for a while. I was able to minimize it so it only did it when cold or damp. Then I changed my tires. I have YET to get it to chirp at all now. I wonder... In order for me to get my wheel into the bead breaker, I had to remove the pulley. I had a 20% chance of putting the pulley back on in the same orientation; chances are I didn't I wonder if that had something to do with it.....

I've got this, that is the sound of your bike, either happy or sad... it will moan less and hum more if you keep it clean and ride it a lot. You're welcome.

Maybe it doesn't know the words? Sorry, my bad! I have a small rub sound at very slow speed, used to have belt chirp big time - I managed to align it out ( not as easy as they claim) chirp hasn't come back!!! I have bike on rack at home and looked at the brake pads / rotor / pulley and everything else under there and I can see no reason for the sound. Humm could be from tire? How many miles on it? I know the Elite E3's I had on my Nomad started to hum and then growl after they were slightly over 1/2 worn.

Not lowered.
It has a fairly new E3 on it. Don't think its from the tire.

You may need louder pipes.
I rode my Vegas without a helmet for a few miles last year and noticed all sorts of different mechanical sounds.
With the open face helmet and loud exhausts all is sweet

Good point. I've noticed different "noises" depending on whether or not my face shield is up or down. That being said, have you checked your rear wheel bearing for play?

sounds like your belt may be a little too tight. Also, E3s are noisy when cornering.
