Default 2011 compensator changeover

talked to my dealer about the compensator upgrade on my
11 cr. rich called victory service and said they would do it
but to tell me the trade off with a quieter clutch in neutral is
you will also pick up more slop in 5th gear. my noise is not
as bad as some of you have described and im going to ride a
12 before making a decision.he also told rich i could keep my old parts
in case i want to switch it back but i will be paying for that.
have any of you that had this done feel more slack or slop in 5th
or been told this? kevin want to chime in?
i have had no trans trouble shifting up or down or missing shifts.
its the same old cluking trans we all know and love. the clutch
sound is not that bad but is noisier than when i got it 2500 miles
ago. any input appreciated.--irv

i would assume i have your blessing to do it.probably wont
notice slop anyway. if it has gotten noisier now does that mean
it will get louder later? it has been mentioned that other upgrades
were made to the 2012 trans. anything else i should upgrade
while they are in there?thank you for the help.--irv

funny, on all the posts i read, no one said anything about gear slop.rich had talked to the top vic service fellow and he was the one who
told him to make me aware of the situation

I had my compensator changed with only a few miles on the odometer and didn't really notice a difference. I'm not that far from you (Bartlett) if you want to meet up and ride mine to see what it's like it would be no problem. This weekend is looking pretty good for riding. PM me or what ever.
