Default Stage 1 filter

I bought a 2012 CCT with the Victory stage 1 setup all installed. When I removed the gas tank to check the air filter it was dry. It is the Vic filter but looks like a K&N that should be oiled. Should it? Can't seem to find a straight answer.

I've been wondering this myself; it would appear that it could be treated like a K&N filter but I don't know for sure. I guess talking to the service department would be the first step and seeing that they say to do.

I think it's supposed to be oiled. I ordered my first Vic with stage 1 and looked it over after I got it home. The filter was oiled. I cleaned it once and used a K&N kit on it.
