Default XR power

How many KW/HP you have in your 2012 XR in USA?

Here in Finland there is 71KW in sales brochure and in real life there is 54 Kw in registration document.

After first 500 miles i notice that my new vic is little lazy and find out that 54KW.

I talk to my dealer and he says it`s because of EU emission and noise rules.
After my whine they take off some EU limiter from EFI system, it limits throttle valve opening, taking that off makes +10HP.

10HP is 7,3KW that plus original 54KW is 61,3KW makes me about 10 KW less that sales brochure says, i told that to my dealer and he says "there is nothing much to do, you can put power commander or something, but it cost...."

The advertised HP/torque is measured from the crankshaft and it is normal to have a 12-18% decrease in HP/torque as the power is transferred through the primary, transmission and belt drive.
