Default removing passenger pegs

I ride solo on a 2012 XC and would like to remove the passenger pegs. I haven't found this issue using the search function. Are there modifications to the swingarm hardware required? shorter pivot bar, spacers, etc.? Has anyone else done this?

thanks for the attention.

I did it on my Jackpot. Put a chrome washer and chrome bolt. Looks good. I ride only solo

I've taken a quick look as I'm waiting for a solo saddle (or going to have one fabbed up) since my wife has her own bike. I think you'll need a spacer in there from what I've seen.

I just went with a chrome washer and the same size bolt just about half the length and it work fine. Harley has a great looking bolt with a crown on top but it won't work due to it being a standard tread. I keep looking for something to make it look better but the chrome effect in that area is not bad.

Can anyone post a pic of what it looks like? I'd like to do this to my XR.
