Default Add Fairing to a Cross Roads

I bought a Cross Roads a few months back. I am kinda kicking myself in the butt that I didn't get a Cross Country for the look and sound system.

Victory has accessories on sale... http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en...it/pid-2878556 so I am thinking about buying it and bolting it on. I think I will get a sound system somewhere else.

Is there anything I need to keep in mind?

Charlie,
When i bought my Cross Roads it had the fairing already installed. The one thing i added was fork mounted lowers to help eliminate buffeting. I went with the Vic branded ones but i know there is someone on these forums that make them as well. I've also just purchased the highway bar plastic closeouts but haven't tried them out yet.

I am holding out for the wideopencustoms fairing but since I made it through this winter already I am going to push for a pc5 and a dyno tune before I get the fairing. Here is one on a hardball.

Also if you go for just a windshield and some pod speakers that mount on the bars, sound is not so good anything past 60/65 and the do not have much bass behind them more highs and a little treble.

Sometimes I think about putting a fairing on my cross roads but I always change my mind about it. I don't really like the vic fairing because of the way the headlight sticks out

I knew I wanted to add a batwing to it for the colder winter months. Just did not realize until after I got it home how few options the cross has for a batwing.
