Default Victory speaker lids vs. Aftermarket speaker lids

So does anyone think the aftermarket vendors may lower their prices or make their prices more reasonable for their speaker lids now that Victory offers color matched speaker lids for $499.99. I mean some aftermarket lids look sharp but they want almost this same price just for the lids and then between $300-$400 more just to have them painted to color match!! That's almost double the price for the same thing😳

Being custom and not massed produced.....I would think not. Your right though the cost is crazy. Factor in the paint and speakers and you went over a grand. Most of the posts I have read on the after market have claimed poor manufacturing on these lids. I'm sure they have gotten it down by now but Victory's lids are a clear no brainer and fit the modern style of the bike. The after market stuff just looks too HD to me. Just my "O".

A lot of the aftermarket are massed produced now too...that's why I wonder why the huge price difference ?!?
