Default Cross Roads Fairing Audio Help

I just installed the Victory Cross Roads Fairing Kit on my 2012 XR's.
Love the look and the protection.
Now to the question of adding a radio and speakers.

First I know nothing about radios or speakers. I just want a radio no CD player.
First will this radio work?

http://www.jensenrvdirect.com/jensen...-wb-radio.html

And then what size and type of speakers do I need for my fairing.
Do I need a amp?

Plan is to disasemble for paint in about a week, would like to have radio/speakers for re assembly.

Not into the thumping system just want to hear radio at interstate speed

Yes, you could install that stereo. Where will you mount it?
I installed the Victory audio kit on mine. It's okay. Mine didn't come with the radio it's just an iPod set up .however, I use a Bluetooth adapter so that I can use my phone as a radio.
Also, cycle sounds makes a pretty good unit that clamps on your handlebars for audio and the speakers would mount on the bars too .but you're faring will hold 5.25" speakers and you could obviously use fairing mounted speakers with their unit.
Another option, would be to look on eBay and there are several inexpensive stereo units that you can clamp to the bars and mount easily and get audio on your bike.

I'd go traditional with a Sony deck with tune tray and Bluetooth. Sound stream 320, nice little compact amp and Polk audio speakers. You won't be happy with a 15 watt per channel head unit. Trust me. Don't bother with those crappy hidden antennas. Just solder 3-4 feet of wire to a male antenna plug and drape around your fairing on the inside.
Bobs your uncle.
