Default Heel Shifter install?

Now that my broken ankle is almost allowing me to ride again, I should install this Witchdoctors heel shifter.

I don't see a video on the WD site....

Who's done this? What are the steps and gotchas?

Piece of cake. Undo the bolts holding the shifter pivot to the floorboard and undo the linkage at the engine end. Slide the shifter out of the floor board. A couple drops of threadlock blue, snug up the bolts and reinstall. I would have had to try to eff it up.

Thanks Edalfa.

Which way does the shifter slide, to the rear?

Probably tackling this tomorrow, stay close to your computer!

2010 XC doesn't have the same pedal. Witchdoctor lists the heel shifter for 2011 and up XC.

You can purchase the one piece shifter, this one fits the 10 XC.
