Default 12V outlet

Mounted and hooking up my xm radio and I found the 12V outlet is on all the time. I was wanting to put a second one on the other side of the fairing that is switched. What have others done, is there something to hook up to in the fairing or should I run a new line from the fuses?

There are a few switched power lines inside the fairing.
Here is a video of where I tapped into for my GPS unit.

Default 12v

I ended up just switching wires to the outlet to the wire Paul has in his video. So now that outlet is keyed.

Found this thread. I want to hard wire my Tom Tom cradle. It located on the left handlebar and I currently use the power socket on the fairing of my XCT. On my other bikes I have wired direct to battery but the XCT appears to have better options. Any assistance appreciated.
