Default 12V connection points in the Fairing

Hi All,

I need to ask the experts on this one!

I am looking for all the 12v leads that are in the fairing. I am looking for one that I can tap my GPS/Phone into. From the factory wiring harness, I know that there is a lead in the fairing for the 12v cig outlet and hand warmers. Is there any others that I can create a plug and play system from? Anyone have any pictures or diagrams.

I called the dealers and they look at me like a moose in headlights.

Thank you for all the help!

Dealers are useless. Do you need switched 12v or unswitched? The thing You do is get a power block . I have a post here that I did. What I did was tap the headlight power to drive a relay. The relay switched power.relay takes only 100ma.

Here is a video that I made showing where I tapped into for my GPS on my 2014 XCT.

I added a Car Lighter Plug Connector to the GPS cradle. This is my 2nd Zumo I have done this way. Whenever I put the GPS cradle on the bike, just plug it in. Whenever I take it off, just unplug it. Leaves only the Ram ball on the bars when I'm not using the GPS.

2013 Cross Country Tour: Custom paint, stage 1 exhaust, Lloydz Hi-Flow air filter, cams (HOH-VM1-DR), timing gear (HOH-PTS), Power Commander V, Auto Tune module, Gustafson flip shield, OEM passenger backrest with Cycle Ops luggage rack, Vic HID, heel shifter, Rockford amp, Infinity speakers all around.

I would like to have it switched. So when I shut off the bike It shuts off with it.

Thank you for the videos Paul. That will be a huge help!
