Default Headlight switch

I want to get my headlight brighter but i don't want to spend the $$$$ on a new hid system. What bulb replacements are you guys using to brighten your headlights?

I have the Vic HID's from Crossroads, definitely brighter and certainly not expensive. Piece of cake to install

Tossed on a set of LEDS ...CLICK HERE
Not too expensive, easy and works a treat. BTW, when I saw the thread title, I thought" dang, the headlight switch failed"

before dropping the money for the new LED headlight I was running the Sylvania Silverstar zXE bulbs and sylvania silverstar Ultra and they both made it very bright. They were about 40 bucks and 50 bucks for a pair respectively. However, 6 pairs is the price of the LED. Those halgoen bulbs for some reason blew often in the bike.

I thought, yeah I'd like a headlight switch too. Then I could turn it off when not needed.
