Default Windvest Windshield Advice

Looking for some advice here. I want to replace my stock windshield with a Windvest windshield. The question is size. I'm 5'11". According to their chart, an 11" windshield is recommended. That seems a little tall to me. Anyone out there of similar size to me have experience on what size you use and recommend? I don't mind a little wind in the hair, but I am wanting to deflect as much wind/rain around me (especially in colder riding months here in Minnesota).
If you prefer a different windshield than Windvest, I'm open to your recommendations there as well!

I'm 6'2" and am running the 9" but I have had the 11" , it may be too tall for you . I would recommend the 10" actually for your height . I like the shorter shield for the warmer temps , but now I wish I was running the 11 ...

Depends on if you slouch. If so then, yes, the 11" may be a bit tall. If you tend to ride with good back posture you should be just fine with the 11". I'm 5'10" and do well will with a 13" but would be fine with an 11".

You can always trim an inch or two off but you can't add any.

Thanks LILMAGS500. One question: With the 11" and your height, I'm assuming you aren't looking through the windshield and your eyes are just over it. Is there a fair amount of "eye clearance" above the windshield using that size for you?

Thanks, Bbob. Similar question for you. With your 13" are you looking through the windshield or over it?

I'm 6' and using the 11" Windvest I thought the bubble was just a little too low. I switched to a Gustafsson 12" Euroflip and its perfect.(I see fully over both)
At 5' 11" the 11" Windvest will probably be great for you

I'm 6'-1" using the 10" windvest. Kinda wish I had the 11" at 65mph there is a lot of wind banging around my head. Although that could be the empty space between my ears. I look well over the 10", you don't even notice it after a while

Thanks for the input, everyone. After reading these, I'm leaning toward the 11". Now I have to convince my wife this would be a great B-day gift!
