Default Sena Bluetooth Head Sets

These accessories are confusing. I order two Sena Bluetooth head sets for me and passenger. Will this product fit on mine and her's half helmet? With these head sets I think I also need two dongles (I thought I had two dongles but she may have cut one or both off a long time ago!). The dongles gives me wireless interface with CCT audio system and rider passenger wireless communication. Does anyone out there have Sena Bluetooth Wireless Head Sets that can help me with this and my dongle problem. Thanks, God's Speed.

I use the SM-10 headset. The one that comes with the kit has loose speakers and a boom mic which worked great for my modular helmet. I bought the SMH-10 helmet clamp for ear buds to use with my half helmet.

It works but the jack sticks out really far from the mount and broke right at the joint. I put a small piece of plastic and used electrical tape to secure it but it would be better if the jack was integrated into the mount.

You can also try these speaker pouches from Spoiled Biker but I can't tell you how well they work.

I have a Cross Roads and used the Sena SR-10 to connect to the Midland 75-822 portable CB so I can't tell you about the dongles from personal experience however, I found this on a different Victory forum
1. You need the Audio cable for XM/CB hook up to install the Dongle.
2. If it is solo that's the only cable you need . If you are doing a set -up for Rider and Passenger you will need the Dongle Jumper also.
3. Make sure to set the stereo Bass/Treble to neutral any plus on these will give you speaker distortion.
4. You need 2 Dongles for a Rider/Passenger set-up .... Victory fails to disclose this fact in their advertising. Shame on them.
I did find the instructions posted on-line

My wife and I use the SMH10 with 1/2 helmets. I used the Vega version of the ear pads Goat posted to mount the speakers and they work very well. The only thing I can suggest is that you are going to hear wind noise from you passengers mic and you can cut that down by removing the foam from the mic, putting a finger off a nytril glove (the blue latex type gloves), and putting the foam over the nytril.

If you guys have an issue with the controls sticking out far, they now have a set of buttons that rock and are like 1/16 of an inch that stick off the side of the helmet. Although the battery now can stick off the back of the helmet. I just saw it at the NYC show and they said it works very well.

My wife and I have modular helmets and use the SMH-10 units. We also use the S-10 Bluetooth audio streaming device. (Not the dongle). I checked
the Sena site and this is the kit you need for your half helmets. I had a completely wired system previously on my other bikes prior to getting the XR. I found the visuals and the instructions to be clear, even for an electronics rookie like I was at the time. You should have no problem.
