For anyone interested; HotVic has entered an agreement with Windvest to make tinted shield for the Victory XR fairing and the XC fairings. No info on prices but the shield on Eric's bike above is one of them.

Yep, pretty comprehensive, well written. It sounds as if no one told him about the neutral-assist function, though (the '13s still have this, right?). Thanks, Bob.

Cheers,

I'm sure it does Bill. I was surprised by the low gas mileage he got (35). Made me wonder how many miles were on the bike and if it was really broke in.

He is right about how the bikes are geared and at what mph the best mileage is. I guess Victory decided 75 mph was the magic speed. Out here I routinely run 80 or more and my gas mileage does suffer from it.

Oh man, I wish this winter would end so that I can actually ride mine! Guess I'll just have to watch this test ride over and over and over for the next 3 months......
