Default Removing triple tree

I recently purchased a 2013 Cross Country, and decided to order the fork lock assembly. To install it, it looks like you need to remove the triple tree, since it bolts up to the underside of it.

I can see where you remove the handlebar bolts, but I have never removed the tree. Does it simply lift off if you unbolt it or is it more complicated than that?

You better talk to your dealer cause the top steering nut has to be tightened to specs. Do you have instructions

The part doesn't come with instructions. It is a simple install if the tree is removed, just slot the lock cylinder in place and bolt it into the existing holes.

I'm going to have my dealer shop do it once we figure out what size bolts it takes. Of course it doesn't come with the bolts and they aren't shown in the parts diagram, so we are waiting for Polaris to answer the dealer about the bolt size.
