Default Tires...I know..But this an easy choice

I have a 23" front wheel so there are only 2 brands to choose from for a matching set of tires front & rear

Metzeler 888 or Avon Cobra

Performance is #1, 2, & 3 on my list

I ride alone, I don't load the bike up

I have all the bolt on parts and cams will be done in June

I'm an aggressive rider and like the turns

I don't ride in the rain unless it rains unexpectedly

It doesn't bother me if I need to buy tires every year

What would be a better set of performance tires for me?

Thanks
Rob

who does rusty jones recommend hes into the big tires.
There both good and maybe will last a long time.
If you have to wait more than 2 days for the tire to get to your house maybe think about having a spare sitting around

I just put on a set of Metzler 888's on. Although I only have 250 miles on them so far they feel great in the turns.

I put on Avon Cobras this season.....the bike's ability to handle and corner is completely turned up a notch from the Commander IIs I had on.
