Default Amp mounting locations

I have a 2012 Cross Roads, and am looking of a good place to mount the amp for the handlebar speakers I have (Boss Audio MCBK400). Anyone know of a good spot to tuck this thing into? I won't have room in the headlight housing with 2 HID ballasts in there.

I have a similar system (Unique cycle sounds). I mounted mine (with velcro) to the front of the right hand saddlebag. It takes little room and can easily be pulled off and left hanging when you need to remove the bag - like when having a rear tire installed. I kept most of the wiring under the seat - I brought power there and then sent the wires for the speakers etc up from there.

Could never have a bike w/o a sound system again!

Thanks Donzo. I had the same system on my Shadow that I sold last summer, just getting black this time to go with the new theme.

Now, when you say to the front of the saddle bag, do you mean inside the bag itself? Any chance you can get a pic?

Spawn you ever get your amp mounted? I just received my set and would like to see how you got yours mounted. Was thinking about velcro in side the saddlebag also. But the amp gets pretty hot, might try and make an aluminum cover to go over it so nothing gets damaged from the heat or smother the amp.
