Bought the tune2air Bluetooth adapter and the controls and everything works, it just sounds extremely distorted and quiet where you have to crank it all the way up just to hear it plays music. Anyone else have this issue? I've used a cheap Bluetooth adapter and it did the same thing!
Something is not right with your stereo. I have the Tune2Air and use it with my iPhone 5S, sound is superb. If you could find another music source that's Bluetooth capable, that would rule out your phone/iPod.

Make sure the volume on your phone is turned all the way up when in music app and make sure you don't have bass boost or any settings on the phone equalizer turned on . You want to adjust the bass and treble through your bikes stereo .

Using an iphone6 also. I Bluetooth to my aftermarket double din in my truck daily so i believe it's something with the bike. I read one page where someone had to cut a wire or something on the bike but I can't find it anywhere.
