Lightbulb I have developed a wiring problem somehow

While in the process of installing my new LED headlight I noticed that the headlight didnt work. I initially thought it was defective but I moved my handlebars and the light came on. So basically i think i have a short in the harness where the wires come out of the harness. If I am riding my bike and turn my bars to the left or the right the lights work. If im going straight ahead, no lights. Bummer.

Not a short, an open. Check your wiring work.

Sure I see your point. I guess the copper cracked inside the low beam wire so I am going to peel it back and solder in a new wire further back.
