Default Exhaust gasket question.

2011 XC first time having the pipes off the head and there are no gasket between head and pipe. Anyone else seen this? I bought the bike new and thus is the first time they been off

Look closer and dig around in the seat of the exhaust port and I believe you'll find they are there. Sometimes they are squashed so bad they look to be part of the head.

Do not replace with OEM, buy better, more pliable ones from Witchdoctors or Lloydz.

I actually prefer the OEM exhaust gaskets.
