Default Helmet Lock

This is the first bike I've owned that didn't have anyplace to secure your helmet when not riding, so I fashioned my own based on the design I had on my VTX. Using some .020 stainless cut and bent, I also made a backup plate to place on the bottom side of the saddlebag. two holes and a couple of pop rivets later and I am very happy with the result. Locking the saddlebag makes it a very secure helmet lock.

Nice job. Of course you know that your helmet will fit inside the bag. You know for bad weather riding.

Yes, the half helmet fits fine, but not my or my wife's 3/4 helmet ! Guess I should have used that in the pictures.

I just put mine in the saddle bag it's large enough my whole helmet goes in there. I have a sena headset on mine I like to lock it up out of sight.
