Default Polaris CS sucks; wrong belt, no help!

So here is my story and RANT:

The other day I googled; Victory crossroads belt.
Here is one of the sites that comes up;

https://store.victorymotorcycles.com...items/3211068/

I click on it and at the top it has a "check fit for your motorcycle" i enter 2010 crossroads and it says it fits!

When it arrives I realize the part number doesn't match up with the number on other sites (3211107).
It is 1.5" wide (38mm).

I called their CS and first of all it is a Call Center so they have to email Polaris to find out how to proceed...
I tell them I simply want to exchange this belt for the correct one! They tell me they will get back to me after they hear something from Polaris
Two days later and not a word!
I also warned them that their site is wrong. I even enter other Vic models and it says it fits every one I try!
UGH!!!

So did they send you the wrong belt and part number or is what they have listed the wrong belt and part number?

Polaris has probably all but forgotten about Victory. It's probably nothing more than a used up orphan to them. Just another reason to never buy another PooPooPolaris product again.

Unfortunately to my knowledge no one in the aftermarket is making these belts yet. I'm sure a company like Gates will at some point and may even make these for Polaris but no joy yet.

As I said, when I googled Victory Cross roads belt the site I showed said it fits a 2010 XR but when I get it I realize the part number is different than the number I've previously seen....
Without counting the teeth I can tell you it is too wide...

I know I posted here a while back about how the cross bike belt is specific and Polaris owns the rights. Gates can only do a production run if Polaris orders one and they haven't done that in months.

2015 Cross Country (bought new 7/11/15)
2015 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 (bought new 4/26/17)
2006 Triumph Rocket III Classic
1/4 turn throttle ring
Tank riser
VM-1 DR cams
Timing wheel +4
Lloydz high-flow air cleaner
Bassani baffled OEM mufflers
PC-V 118hp 116tq
If it's not broke, make it better

You can just never trust web site for right information.

So you know Vision and all CC run the same belt

Please add your state and model of bike you have. Click user CP @ top of page and then far left click edit signature. Thanks

Here are links to contact numbers but they won't do you any good till Monday.

Contact Us - Self Help - Dealer Help | Polaris

Polaris Headquarters | Corporate Office, Company Info, Contact Info

For what it's worth; there's no sense getting upset about something you can't do anything about at the moment.

Is your bike down or were you just getting a spare belt?
