Default Out of Headlight Adjustment.

I have a 14 XCT and have the headlight adjustment as high as it will go. I need to go higher and am not sure how to go about it. Please help.

Let the air out of your rear tire? Sorry, just had to pull your leg. I have a completely different aiming method on mine, so I can't help other than to say, are the bulbs securely locked into place? If they are, can you see a way to shim the mount that would raise the beam?
Is your high beam going straight out,but a tad down? If so, that's where it should be.

The adjustment screws; OUT to aim up / IN to aim down.

How are you determining the beam height?

It is straight out but when riding at night the beam is hitting the ground about 40' out. Useless for night riding. If I use my high beam I don't even get bright lighted.

Takes a few revolutions of the adjusting screw to notice any change.
