Default Rear Sprocket Bolt Torque

Hi everyone , I have a 2014 CCT and was wondering what the Torque values are for the 5 bolts on the rear sprocket, and the rear axle nut? Also should I use Locktite on these NEW bolts?

If I read it right the sprocket bolts are 55 ft lb. The axle nut is 65 ft lb.

Thanks for the info, do you know if the use of Locktite is recommended , and if so which strength?

Blue. Not red. It's not in the manual, but its not going to hurt either. Me, I would do it. These bolts have backed out on a few pple.

Well that just sucks. The theory is some bikes they were never torqued properly by the factory (or dealer of course if post tire change).

Checked manual. 71 lb is what diagram says. Locktite and I was taught blue if steel into aluminum, steel to steel red. The hub bolt should be a self locking nut.

Correct it is 71 ft lb torqued in a star pattern. Blue loctite won't hurt.

If you are going to be doing this stuff you need a service manual. There is a link for free downloads in here somewhere.

+1 on the service manual. Far as I know all the X bikes are same from start to finish.
