I added a pair of Hyper-Lights under the arms of the rear turn sigs where they are seen only from the rear. Vic and H-L made it easy; Vic provided a convenient hole in the underside of the arms for the wires and H-L included powerful double sided sticky tape to mount them. They are available in several modes - I got the ones that are running lights and go very bright when the brakes are applied, blinking for 5 seconds and then on steady. Great for getting the attention of approaching cars when I'm stopped at a traffic light. First pic, they're off / second, they're on. They are a lot brighter than the photo indicates and SUPER BRIGHT when the brakes are applied.

The top is getting rubbed raw by the lids on the saddlebags. It's not harmful to the lights and you can't see it when lids are closed.

if so, I sent these to Kury and they responded back with "we have had tons of installs with no issues. if you are getting rubbing like that on the cables, you should drill through the side of the saddlebags and make sure to seal it with silicone." they had no response for the rubbing on the top of the lights. these were only installed on the bike for a week. but because half of the LED's on the clutch side were out when i installed them, they did replace them free of charge.. i am debating on actually installing them again.

Yes exactly like that but it's rubbed white across the top of both sides.
I don't care significantly because it isn't visible with the bags closed. I will try loosening the lids and see if I can wiggle them back a bit in the spring. Bike is done for the year they won't stop salting the roads here.

I actually read your post on a while back and as result of that I routed the wiring differently to avoid that issue. Did not remember you having the tops rub though.

The lids are going to move. In fact Victory says if you take them off for any reason you should buy a new seal.

Well no one cares what Victory says anymore. Lol
They do move on the hinges because the close system isn't perfect but I wouldn't expect them to move front to back motion under normal use.

I installed mine at the beginning of the riding season and have since put on 35,000 km / 22,000 mi and no issuess with rubbing/chaffing.

Agreed with more visibility to the rear of bike.

I've been rear-ended on a bike... my biggest fear. I don't really care too much what they look like but I do like the way they look. Mine don't rub on the lids.

Sadly true. When I was rear-ended on my bike it was my best friend driving the car that hit me. He knew I was there, didn't know I'd stopped... I still want all the light I can get on the back (and front).

That's very cool. Does the bike go crazy with that flasher? I've read old posts about not messing with the brake wiring because bike doesn't like it and things like cruise won't work.
