Had a friend make me this all aluminum anodized light bar, on which I put 2 LED running lights.
First, he machined 2 brackets that fit the fork tubes, then the bar is affixed to the brackets via screws. He channeled a groove on the underside of the bar to hide wires and tapped a 5/8 hole for the light studs. We secured them with SS jam nuts. I have 1/8 clearance from the fender, should I ever (not likely) completely seat the forks. I am contemplating putting a white LED light strip along the front of the bar, running from light to light. I am running lights through a separate relay and it is switch operated from the dash. Came out better than I ever imagined. I am happy! Best part is, should I ever decide to go with bigger and heavier lights, this bar can more than handle it!
