CC best cruiser but beamer best tourer?

Well OK..no argument that the beamer is top notch...but just what isit that makes the call-cruiser or tourer?

while my rolls on this bike have been limited to 300m day/ovenights...my CC seems to me just peachy for touring...the comfort is exceptional...the storage tops... the faring super and the handling is a dream?

so just where is the line drawn...i wonder...?

I had the same question.....I always thought of the C.C as a tourer and not a cruiser.

Where do I start? I just traded in my 2010 XC for the 2011 XC; ergo, my opinion of the XC may be a little biased.
The handeling of the XC is superb! The custom seat is better than the Ultimate Seat that I once had which cost me 1200$. No buffeting! Once you put on the tall windshield and the lowers there is just a beautiful ride.
Why the 2011? Because I can and because the transmission has been beefed up. Victory says that you now can wait until 5,000 miles between oil changes (not me, but...). Also, they warrenty the trany for 100,000 miles.
The ride is still as smooth as a baby's a**. The Nutural assist is a great addition and works well. As for the sound system and the exhaust, really no change, or I just can't tell. Victory says there's a difference.
The only change that I would invest in would be a little better sounding pipes. I would suggest that the Stage 1, which I had on the 2010, is a waste of money. I need to find something that will improve the sound ( a little throatier, and just a little louder, so I know that it's there) and provide a little more low end torque, if there is such an animal).
As for the reach to the handlebars, no sweat! I just don't understand want people are talking about, having to reach for them. I have short arms, 32" and I still bend my elbows.
No bike in it's class has been able to out perform the XC. Not Harley, not Yamaha, not Kawasaki! They can't touch our bike!
However, ride what you love, and love what you ride. Make your bike your own. It would be a B-itch if we all wanted to ride the same bike. I love mine!
