Default Aux Brake lights on XR

Finally installed my LED 's to rear of bike. It definitely adds to visual appearance at night as well as during the day.

That looks great. Perfect spot to install them.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I purchased them from a place in Ca. GR Customs. There made by Knight Riderz mine were 7" long 21 led's (they also have 4" long )and come with strong double sided tape. I made simple brackets bent in a vice. Bolted to rear bag frame.I have some other pics I can send you.

I removed seat and disconnected plug that connects to tail light, Used a meter to find which color was running and brake then used 3m splice adapter. Pretty easy. It took longer to decide where to mount them than it did to wire.

The fact that its a brake light and not blinkers,no need for any load equalizers.

I mounted a set of LED pods on the bracket just above where you are pointing to in the picture. They fit perfect and are wired up for brake and turn.

You are correct in stating that the additional lights makes a big difference. Plus it is a great spot to mount them.
