Default XR Fairing Kit or Windshield

I have been going back and forth between the XR OEM Fairing Kit or a Windshield for my XR '12. One of the biggest things holding me back from the OEM Fairing Kit is that I haven't seen a good picture of it sitting snug. That and its like night and day when you compare it to the cross country fairing kit. Are there any other options out there that I haven't seen yet?

Looking for some tips and pointers from people who have used either or both. The help would be appreciated very much.

If you are set on a fairing, look at Wide Open Customs. They make the best one for the XR, IMHO.

Ride safe.

Or just trade in your 12XR for a 2013 or 2014 XC.

I have two different size windshields and also have the fairing on which I have drive shields at different heights. Currently I am running the fairing with a 4" windshield.

I haven't had the fairing off since last year and don't plan on doing so. I do not run a speaker system or anything, just the fairing.
