Default passenger floor boards

did anyone have their floor boards lowered I thinking of taking the mounting brackets to a welder to have cut and welded 2" lower have anyone done this, it was mention there was someone here or another site that was doing it now

There's someone on this site that modded theirs using Kuryakyn adjustable drop downs and splined adapters. Try searching for floorboards and you should be able to find the post and see the pictures.

If I remember correctly some one cut 2 inches off and said he should have only went 1 1/2 inches due to the exhaust pipes.

thank you for the replies and yes I did do a search left alot to be desired
thanks about the warning I was worried about it getting to close to the pipes have keep it in mind

There is a thread on another site that has pics. Go to www.******.com . Search on 'Passenger flooarboard brackets'. The welder did an amazing job.

You can also search on 'Passenger floorboard adjustment' on the same site, another good thread.
