Default Analog vs Digital Amps - Questions on RF Amp

I am replacing my Biketronics DIGITAL AMP with the Rockford-Fosgate PBR300-4 amp. I am hoping the sound will improve on my music? What are some of your opinions regarding these high end digital amps vs the analog amps? I am hoping I can just unplug the leads and cables from the digital AMP right into the RF amp and then run NEW power and ground wires and then be done with it.

At any rate, I KNOW there are several threads regarding the install of the RF PBR300 amp, but I have some SPECIFIC questions regarding a couple of details.

1. Is the Rockford Fosgate Wire Kit (10ga) adequate? I have heard of others mentioning an 8ga setup. Is 8ga better?
2. Is the install as easy as Direct Power to battery, Ground to Battery, Speaker Hookup and 2 RCA Audio cables from Radio INTO the RF amp?
3. Is everyone that uses this amp, using it with AUTO VOLUME turned OFF?
4. OFF SUBJECT (kinda), Is there a such a thing as a BATTERY TERMINAL MULTI-CONNECTOR for hooking up multiple connections to the battery (so that you don't have to mess with that damn NUT underneath the battery post on the YUASA Battery?
5. Does hooking the GROUND up to the NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL eliminate engine noise? What about the POWER LEAD to the POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL?

I can tell you in general given the advances I'd be more inclined to run a class-d verses a conventional class-ab of the same output rating. Reason being size, weight and power draw will typically be better with class-d amps, and nowadays they sound great for sound quality. Can't speak to the specs of these individual amps. Have to use what fits and what fits your needs.

1.The RF kit gets you an extra year of warranty, so it must be adequate.
2. Power wires to battery ensures a clean voltage path. Per the manual, you will need to cut the RCA fittings off, then connect to amp.
3. Some are using AUTO VOLUME turned on low, I have mine off. It sounds fine to me.
4. Search the net for a POWER DISTRIBUTION BLOCK. There are several, but I don't recall brands offhand.
5. I can't speak for others, but my system is whine free.

the heavier gauge wire will allow more juice before it gets hot. It's nice insurance.

I've installed multiple RF amps.

Yep, Direct to battery for both. Speaker wires from amp are easy. Into amp you need to cut factory wires.

Do Not use the turn on wire. It is NOT needed.
You will be fine. I love mine. Took it out of my '11 XC and installed it in my '13 XC. Never an issue with the auto volume either. Mine is on all the time.

Yep, it is pretty straightforward on the install. I used 8 Gauge wire to the battery for both the + and -. I have the Auto volume turned off and don't have any interference. I made a bracket and installed it on the back of the radio.
