Default Exhaust Calmps

Just wondering if any one has broke off the heat shield clamps on the exhaust?? I broke my clamps for powder coating and want to know if I had enough clearance for a regular screw type hose clamps?
The factory clamps are a non-adjustable type clamp called "Band It"
I recently purchased a RPW exhaust and was given 6 Large hose clamps but the shields next to the engine is really close...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated......

I've never worked on a Cross bike exhaust so I may be totaslly wrong but usually its just a matter of getting the correct angle for it tto go on.
