Default new to the forum and question about forged hw bars

how do you install highway pegs on the forged highway bars? i'm used to clamps on round bars. i plan on purchasing a CC in the month or two and i was just curious.

The clamp style pegs will not work. You will need pegs specifically designed for the XC forged bars. The mounting points are on the inside of the bars.

Thanks. Can they mount so the pegs are on the back of the bar instead of front? I'm 6'4" need the stretch

You can get the mounts to bolt to the forged bars from victoryonly.com for about $50 then get pegs and mounts to mount to them. You will probably want some offset mounts, check out www.denniskirk.com for pegs and mounts many to choose from.

I used KewlMetal brackets. You can then use ANY pegs you might want (even Harley pegs). It just gives you that many more choices. My pegs match the Ness Knurled that I have on the grips and everywhere else on my bike.
