Default hand control clamps

Was loooking to put the ram mount clamps on...anyone know the size allen wrench fits the bolts its giving me issues and I don't want to mess anything up.

Not sure about the size but I know there's one in the tool kit that came with your bike.

Look to see where it was made. If it was made here in the good old US of A, then it would more than likely be an SAE size allen wrench. If it was made offshore, then it'll take a metric size. Didn't one come with the mount?

Im sorry I should have been more specific the ram mount system is made to mount items like a gps cup holder etc.....the piece replaces the bottom clamp tthat holds on your clutch lever for example

Sorry... no help here. My ram mount has an external clamp with metric nuts. You should be able to take the mount to your toolbox (or nearest tool store) and find an allen wrench that fits properly with absolutely no wiggle.

Being that it replaces the stock piece it retains the stock hardware

Not sure what model you ride but my XC does not have an allen bolt holding on the clutch lever. It has a small nut AND I found that a 9mm is too small, a 10 mm is too big, a 3/8 is too small and a 7/16 is too big. WTF? I looked in the manual and although it showed the nut and the torque setting it doesn't have the size. Call the dealer? I haven't got a clue.
