Default Xc hazard light question

Just got the xc home. I left the key in the on position to mess with the radio settings and after a few seconds the hazards turn on. Is this normal?

Not normal, but I bet you've hit the hazard button by mistake. Try doing it again, and see if you can re-create the issue. If not, it likely was you, being too excited to notice the switches you were flipping.

Btw, congrats on your new XC.

I tried. They were off, it would flash after about 30 seconds. Got really set trailering though.

Tried it again this am. If the key is in the on position it flashes. Or if you pull in the clutch it flashes.

My guess is excessive water. I trailered it 6.5 hours on snow and rain

Not a bad guess at all. See what happens once it dries off.
