Default Hard Ball tachometer

I've noticed that they don't make a black tachometer kit. I've never really found the need for one on a street v-twin myself but I hate the way that single bucket looks. Can you add a regular chrome Cross Roads tach to a Hard Ball or is there a wiring problem?

No wiring problem. Just plasti-dip a chromed one, and you're good to go.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

I bought one for my XR for the same reason, didn't like the look of the single speedo. Do like CR says and plastidip the chrome tach.

2011 Cross Roads Sunset Red
OEM short windshield, passenger backrest, crash bars, saddle bag bars, heated grips, vinyl closeouts, tachometer, ambient temp, LED headlight, luggage rack. WD lay down licence plate.

Sounds good. Just wanted to make sure that running another tach wouldn't cause a conflict with the bike's wiring.

No conflict - they use the same wiring harness, so it will be a plug-n-play install.
