Default cc exhaust

Has any one takeing out the converter out of xc. every one seems to do exhaust but no one talks about the converter.

It has been discussed and I believe the outcome was that XC/XR pipes flow very well and removing the catalytic material will not raise your HP or TQ and may actually lower one or both.

Search for catalytic and you should be able to locate the thread.

Yep. That's my impression too.

I do have a friend who did it during the process of making new head pipes and mufflers. Didn't sound any different with them out imho.

Don't know if Fulsac is going ahead with the project but he spoke on this forum about it. Search "Fulsac".
