Default How Do You Remove Pipes from Engine??

I have a pair of Lloydz exhaust gaskets on the way and in preparation to install them, I started to remove the front pipe. Got the joint clamp loose as well as removing the stud nuts at the head. The oval plate is loose and pulled off the studs. Sprayed some penetrate on both the joint and where the pipe enters the head and yanked and yanked and yanked. No movement. HELP!

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."

After yanking them every way possible to the point of exhaustion, I realized it wasn't that loud after all.

Er, thanks...I think. Fortunately, I came across this video to aid me with this project. Together with your help, I should be able to have this project done by riding season 2017.

The video they have describes what it takes to replace an entire exhaust system, not just the gaskets unfortunately.

Ric , you are too funny ... Just keep removing nuts and bolts until pipes come free , in fact looks like you have to loosen and dismantle most of the system .... I would take depots advice and put it all back together , probably isn't leaking anyway . Although , now that your crush gaskets are already crushed .... It will leak ! Sorry Buddy
