Default Brake and shifter pegs

Wanting to change out brake pedal and shifter peg from '12 XC. Vice grip is only turning the pedal. Can't see if there's a screw to undo. Need insight....

I changed both of mine with a pair of vice grips. They both screw out, you just have to get a good "bite" with them. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

heat them up a bit if you haven't already. They have loctite on them from the factory and can be a bear if they're cold.

Like jwolfpac02 said - a little heat and place the vise grip next to the brake lever and turn counterclockwise - It will come loose......

Remember to clean the used loctite out of the threads and put new loctite on the new pedal threads.

Keep us posted.
