Iíve used so much information from this board that I thought it was time I should give some back. So here you go, this is how I got Bluetooth on my victory cross country for under $40.00. This modification is for streaming audio from your cellphone or MP 3 player two your stereo on your victory cross country. I apologize for not having any pictures but I really donít know how to post them anyway, lol. The first thing I did was ordered a Milennia MIL-BTREC Bluetooth adapter.
Then I removed my fairing, and found my stereo auxiliary input plugged. It is the one with a orange, green, and blue wire. I cut the plug off of this connection and then Iíd also cut the plugs off of the Bluetooth adapter. At this point you could connect your Bluetooth adapter directly to your three wires by connecting your black wire from your Bluetooth adapter to the orange wire on the input harness. Then you can connect them red wire of the Bluetooth adapter to the blue wire on the input harness. Then you will need to twistt the shields together of the Bluetooth adapter and connect them to the green wire. Now you should be able to connect 12 volts to your Bluetooth adapter and you are ready to go. What I did on my bike was to connect a female 3.5 MM stereo plug on the bike harness. Then I put a male 3.5 MM stereo plug a on the the Bluetooth adapter. This way I still have the options of plugging something in if needed. Here is a link on how to do the 3.5 mm stereo plug Mod.
