For the Helibars, just wondering if someone has them and thought they were easy to use, etc. They probably would be more useful on a sport bike than a cruiser, however I could see that you might want them more pulled back when cruising on a highway than on twisties/back roads.
For the electric windshield, what I am looking for is a setup where I don't have buffeting at highway speeds, but can lower the shield when in towns, etc. I don't want to have to look through the shield in the rain as that just seems like a nightmare.
Maybe I could just see if the MRA shield extender has one for Victory shields. Then just find the right size shield.
I rather not have to switch windshields, as I would rather not have to spend the time to do that for whatever kind of riding I am doing that day. Also considering trips, I would rather not have to bring multiple shields along.
I'll see when the local dealer gets the XCT in.
Maybe it makes sense to rent a bike, as I feel a test ride is only going to tell you so much.
If you're looking into a tourer, you need to know the long distance comfort. While many of you may just sigh and say, "that's what mods are for". I would rather find the bike that is the closest fit to have the best starting point before having to mod.
Currently for my next bike which I want to have for 15+ years, I believe that is looking more and more like the XCT every day.
